About the Role:

Hanbury Hauliers Ltd is a small family run company, we are looking for a LGV C+E Tramper driver to work from our yard in Droitwich. This is a Monday to Friday role. You should plan to be away for 4 nights although you may well get back one or two nights a week. Our work is with a curtainside trailer and most of the work is recycling, cardboard and plastic etc. You will be expected to secure your load. You will not be doing 15 and 13 hour days every day.

Looking to start as soon as possible

Average working hours per week are 55.

Night out payment is 100/week and we pay a meal allownce of 10/ day both of these are tax free.

holiday allownce is 20 days annually plus bank holidays. You will need to have no more than 6 points on your licence for insurance purposes, we can consider new drivers.

HGV Driver Requirements

Hold a valid commercial Driving License with the Correct Categories C / C+E Have a Professional Driving Qualification called the Full Driver Certificate of Professional Competence (CPC) Hold a Digital Tachograph / Smart Card Pass a standard drug and alcohol test (below) to the extend it is permitted by the applicable law, if required Be able to speak & read English satisfactorily Have a maximum of 6 penalty points in the Driver's License (as well as no DD, DR or IN endorsement

HGV Driver Responsibilities

Use route navigation apps and knowledge of area to deliver containers to customers on time Interact with stakeholders in a professional manner Complete daily maintenance checks on trucks and notify manager of any issues Drive in inclement weather, such as light snow Maintain electronic logs to track routes and deliveries We have access to the latest truck technology both on safety and sustainability.
