This is a

tramping position

, where you'll be based out on the road Monday to Friday (or Sunday to Thursday), with overnight stays in comfortable, well-maintained units. No manual loading or unloading is required--your focus is safe driving, positive teamwork, and professional service.

What We're Looking For

Valid

C+E (Class 1)

licence with no more than 6 penalty points (no DD, DR, or IN convictions) Full

Driver CPC

with no suspensions or revocations Valid

Digital Tachograph (Smart Card)

Solid knowledge of UK driving laws and transport regulations Eligibility to work in the UK Comfortable with overnight stays during the working week Willing to undergo a Background Check and Drug & Alcohol screening
(Employment is subject to passing both checks.)

Responsibilities

Operate HGV Class 1 vehicles to transport goods safely and efficiently across designated routes. No loading or unloading, no handballing, simply drop and swap trailers. Maintain accurate delivery records and adhere to schedules while complying with traffic regulations. Communicate effectively in English with clients and team members to ensure smooth operations. Conduct regular vehicle inspections and report any maintenance issues promptly.

Basic English for safety and communication

Trailer swaps

for you via your smartphone, with no paperwork or planning required.

Essential Skills & Experience:
