Job Summary

We are seeking a reliable and experienced Truck Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong commitment to safety and efficiency while transporting goods across various locations. This role requires a skilled driver with a focus on delivering exceptional service and maintaining the integrity of the cargo.

Responsibilities

Ensure timely delivery of products to designated locations while adhering to all traffic laws and regulations. Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle, ensuring it is in good working order. Maintain accurate logs of working hours, vehicle service, and cargo information. Communicate effectively with dispatchers and clients regarding delivery schedules and any potential delays. Handle loading and unloading of cargo, ensuring proper securing techniques are used to prevent damage during transit. Adhere to company policies and procedures, particularly those related to safety and compliance. Must have experience of flat bed work . no roping or sheeting just straps and chain's

Skills

Proven experience as a commercial driver with a valid driving licence suitable for lorries. Familiarity with flatbed operations is highly desirable. Strong knowledge of road safety regulations and best practices in driving. Excellent time management skills with the ability to meet tight deadlines. Good communication skills for effective interaction with team members and clients. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team, demonstrating reliability and professionalism in all tasks.
