is a leading logistics and transport provider, and we are currently seeking experienced

HGV Class 1 (C+E) Tramper Drivers

to join our expanding team in the

Sandbach

Position Overview

As a Class 1 Tramper Driver, you will be responsible for nationwide deliveries of curtain-sided loads. You will typically work Monday to Friday, tramping throughout the week (overnighting in your cab), with optional weekend shifts available for those who want additional earnings. All vehicles are modern, well-maintained and equipped with the necessary facilities to make your time on the road comfortable.

Key Duties & Responsibilities

Safe and efficient driving of Class 1 (C+E) vehicles for curtain-sided deliveries across the UK Correctly strapping and securing goods to ensure compliance with safety standards Completing and recording daily vehicle defect checks and promptly reporting any issues Accurately completing delivery notes, logs and tachograph records Maintaining a courteous and helpful approach with clients, colleagues and the general public Adhering to driver hours regulations, Working Time Directive and tachograph legislation at all times

Candidate Requirements

A valid UK Class 1 (C+E) driving licence Driver CPC and Digital Tachograph Card (in date) A minimum of 6 months' Class 1 driving experience (tramping experience desirable) Maximum 6 penalty points (no DD, DR or IN convictions) Strong communication skills, reliability and a flexible approach to work

Rates of Pay

Monday to Friday: 200 per day Saturday: 220 per day Sunday: 240 per day Nights Out: 25.00
(Both LTD Company and PAYE drivers are welcome.)
