Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced HGV Class 1 Tramper to join our team in Doncaster. The successful candidate will be responsible for transporting goods across various locations, ensuring timely deliveries while adhering to all safety regulations. This role requires a strong commitment to professionalism and excellent driving skills, particularly with flatbed vehicles.

Responsibilities

Operate HGV Class 1 vehicles Tramping General Haulage Ensure the safe loading and unloading of cargo, securing loads appropriately to prevent damage during transit. Conduct pre-journey vehicle checks to ensure compliance with safety standards and regulations. Maintain accurate delivery logs and documentation as required. Communicate effectively with dispatch teams and clients regarding delivery schedules and any potential delays. Adhere to all road traffic laws and company policies during operations. Provide exceptional customer service when interacting with clients during deliveries.

Qualifications

Valid HGV Class 1 driving licence with a clean driving record. Previous experience as a commercial driver Proven delivery driver experience is highly desirable. Strong knowledge of road safety regulations and best practices in transport logistics. Excellent time management skills with the ability to work independently and efficiently. Good communication skills, both verbal and written, to liaise effectively with team members and clients.
