Job Overview

We are seeking for an immediate start reliable and experienced lorry drivers to join our tramping team. We transport Containers nationwide and visit the ports on a daily basis. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in commercial driving, particularly with containers. This role involves transporting goods to various locations while ensuring the safety and timely delivery of products. A commitment to maintaining high standards of vehicle operation and customer service is essential.

Duties

Operate trailers and lorries in a safe and efficient manner, adhering to all traffic laws and regulations. Responsible loading and unloading of cargo, ensuring that all items are secured properly for transport. Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure it is in good working order. Maintain accurate delivery logs and documentation as required by company policies. Communicate effectively with dispatchers and customers regarding delivery schedules and any potential issues. Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations during transportation. Provide excellent customer service during deliveries, addressing any questions or concerns from clients.

Requirements

A Valid commercial driving licence (C+E) with a clean driving record and all relevant driving cards. Proven experience driving a class 1 lorry. Have a good command of the English language Strong knowledge of road safety regulations and best practices in commercial driving. Excellent time management skills to ensure timely deliveries. Good communication skills for effective interaction with clients and team members. A proactive approach to problem-solving and the ability to work independently.
