HGV Class 1 Trunk Driver (Nights)

Location:

Waltham Cross, Hertfordshire

Potential Earnings:

50,000 + per year

Basic Salary:

45,629 per annum

Bank Holiday:

Earn Time + for Bank Holidays

Annual Pay Reviews

Shifts:

5 out of 7 nights, 48 hours per week

Start Times:

Between 6:00pm and 10:00pm (2-week rota basis)

What You'll Be Doing

Night Trunking:

Transporting fresh and perishable products safely and efficiently to our depots across England and Scotland.

Backhauls & Returns:

Collecting goods from depots and suppliers, ensuring quality and accuracy of products.

Supporting the Yard Team:

Assisting the Yard Shunting team when required

Vehicle Checks:

Conducting thorough pre-departure checks, reporting any defects.

Compliance & Safety:

Maintaining legal, safety, temperature, and HACCP standards throughout your shift.

Paperwork:

Ensuring accurate completion and return of all delivery and company documentation.

What We're Looking For

Professional Certification:

Valid HGV Class 1 (C+E) licence

Safety & Compliance:

Driver CPC and Digi Tacho card

Experience:

Minimum of 12 months commercial HGV Class 1 driving experience

Clean Record:

No major convictions (DR's, DD's, INS), and no more than 6 points on licence

Reliability & Independence:

Ability to work independently at night while supporting team objectives
