Class One Trunk Drivers -
Job Summary:
We are seeking reliable and skilled trunk drivers to join our team. The ideal candidates will be responsible for trunking goods from our customer site and back to our depot base, ensuring timely and safe transportation. As a Trunking Driver, you will play a crucial role in maintaining our transportation operations efficiently.
Duties:
- Completing depot to depot trunk runs.
- Working on a 4on / 4off rota.
- Shift start times between 20:30 and 00:30 each evening.
- Ensure per shift truck and trailer checks are completed thoroughly before commencing journeys.
- Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations during transport.
- Ensure vehicles and trailers are maintained internally and externally at the end of each shift.
- Obeying to the drivers hours and tachograph laws.
- Must hold a Driver CPC and Tacho card.
Skills:
- Experience in double deck trailer driving is preferred.
- Proficient in delivery driver responsibilities.
- Ability to drive efficiently and safely.
- Strong attention to detail and time management skills.
