Safely load, secure, and transport 6 to 7 vehicles on a multi-car transporter.
Carry out pre-journey vehicle checks and ensure all loads are compliant with weight and safety regulations.
Complete accurate delivery and collection documentation, including vehicle condition reports.
Deliver vehicles to dealerships, customers, auctions, or compound sites across the UK.
Maintain a high standard of professionalism, customer service, and driving at all times.
Ensure the transporter and equipment are kept in good condition and report any defects promptly.
Comply with all road transport and tachograph regulations.
Requirements:
Valid HGV Class 1 (Category C+E) driving licence.
Minimum of 1 year of recent experience driving a car transporter (6/7-car preferred).
Up-to-date CPC qualification and digital tachograph card.
Excellent driving skills with a strong understanding of vehicle safety and load securing.
Good communication skills and attention to detail.
Ability to work independently and manage time efficiently.
Flexibility for occasional early starts and longer journeys when required.
