Overview

We are currently seeking a Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for loading, transporting and unloading machinery safely and efficiently to our many customers at designated locations. Hours of work are 7.45am - 5.15pm and alternate Saturdays 8.30 am to 12.00pm. ( class 2 drivers who wish to obtain their class 1 licence may be offered this training )

Duties

- Transport goods over short and long distances
- Operate commercial vehicles in compliance with traffic regulations
- Load and unload machinery using appropriate equipment
- Inspect vehicles for mechanical issues and safety concerns
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries and vehicle maintenance
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers and team members

Requirements

- Must hold a valid Class 2 Licence and CPC
- Proven experience as a driver with a good driving record and no traffic violations
- Familiarity with loading and unloading is advantageous but full training will be given
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong communication skills and customer service orientation

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: 14.24-14.25 per hour
