The Flexi Group are now looking for Class 2 ADR Drivers in the Kidderminster area for an immediate start!



This is more than just a driving job. As a Class 2 Cylinder Driver, you'll have the opportunity to combine your passion for driving with delivering excellent customer service every day. You'll be responsible for safely and efficiently delivering LPG (Liquid Petroleum Gas) cylinders to domestic and commercial customers using a Class 2 vehicle.

This role involves manual handling, including loading, unloading, and securing cylinders, as well as using lifting aids such as trolleys and forklift trucks. You'll be expected to follow strict safety procedures, ADR regulations, and operational standards to ensure all deliveries are completed safely and on time.

This position is ideal for someone who is safety-conscious, physically fit, and confident working independently while maintaining high levels of customer service and professionalism.

Pay Rate:

PAYE - 16.45 per hour inc holiday

Hours:

Full-time, Monday to Friday (occasional overtime may be available)

Key Responsibilities



Conduct thorough daily vehicle safety checks and report any defects promptly. Deliver LPG cylinders safely and efficiently to domestic and commercial customers. Provide excellent customer service, representing the business professionally at all times. Maintain compliance with ADR regulations, site-specific safety rules, and manual handling best practices. Use lifting aids such as trolleys and forklifts to safely load and unload cylinders. Ensure safe and secure loading, with correct weight distribution for transport. Adapt quickly to delivery challenges such as restricted access, weather conditions, or route changes. Communicate effectively with the operations team regarding delivery progress or vehicle issues. Complete all delivery and compliance documentation accurately. Adhere to road transport laws, tachograph rules, and Working Time Directive (WTD) compliance. Support colleagues and contribute to a positive, safety-focused work environment.

Candidate Requirements



Essential:



LGV Class 2 (C) licence with relevant driving experience. Valid Driver CPC and Digital Tachograph Card. ADR in Packages (minimum Class 2 gases). Strong understanding of driving hours, tachograph regulations, and WTD compliance. Physically fit and capable of manual handling safely. Ability to work independently and manage time effectively. Reliable, professional, and customer-focused approach. Willingness to undergo a DBS check if required.

Essential Technical Skills



Class 2 Driving Competence - Confident operation of a rigid vehicle in varied delivery environments. ADR & Dangerous Goods Handling - Safe and compliant transportation and securing of LPG cylinders. Vehicle Inspection & Maintenance - Conducting accurate pre- and post-use checks. Digital Tachograph & WTD Compliance - Adhering to legal driving and rest hour regulations. Manual Handling & Use of Lifting Aids - Safe loading/unloading of cylinders using trolleys and forklifts. Safe Loading & Weight Distribution - Properly securing loads for stability and safety. Documentation & Record-Keeping - Completing all paperwork accurately. Customer Service Excellence - Courteous, professional communication with all customers. Decision-Making Under Pressure - Managing delivery challenges effectively and safely.
