Job Summary

We are seeking a professional and reliable Truck Driver to join our logistics team. The successful candidate will be responsible for safely transporting dangerous goods across various routes, ensuring timely deliveries, and maintaining the highest standards of safety and vehicle care. Responsibilities

Safely operate commercial vehicles to transport goods to designated locations. Plan routes efficiently to meet delivery schedules while adhering to traffic laws and safety regulations. Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle, ensuring it is in optimal condition. Secure loads properly on flatbeds to prevent movement or damage during transit. Maintain accurate delivery documentation and communicate effectively with dispatch teams regarding schedules or issues. Assist with loading and unloading cargo when necessary, ensuring proper handling procedures are followed. Comply with all health and safety regulations, including adherence to company policies on driving hours and rest periods.

Experience

Proven experience as a commercial driver - ADR Licence compulsary Demonstrable knowledge of driving regulations and safety standards within the UK. Experience operating similar large commercial transport is highly desirable. Valid driving licence suitable for operating heavy goods vehicles (HGV) with relevant categories. Familiarity with route planning tools and GPS systems is advantageous. A clean driving record demonstrating responsible driving behaviour is essential.
