HGV Class 2 Asphalt Tipper Driver - Nights

Westcott Sand & Aggregates are looking for a full time, permanent HGV Class 2 Tipper Night Driver with (C) License.

Working night shifts with a minimum pay rate of 10 her per night guaranteed, regardless of the hours worked, overtime paid.

Working location will be from our Uffculme base. Your working day will consist of varied delivery locations around the South West, predominantly road asphalt work.

MPQC card is a must for this position.

Flexibility to move onto days during quieter seasons is required.

Class 1 license desirable.

The successful candidate will be hard working, polite, have excellent communication skills with both customers and team members and have a can do attitude towards their role.

Duties:

- Safely operate a rigid tipper lorry.

- Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations.

- Perform routine inspections and daily checks

- Communicate with the office team and clients regarding delivery status.

- Maintain accurate records of deliveries and mileage.

- Adhere to company policies and and procedures.

Experience:

- Valid commercial driver's license (CDL)

- Valid Rigid HGV Class 2 (C) license.

- MPQC (Essential)

- Excellent driving skills and a clean driving record (no more than 6 points)
