Loop Recycling Limited is a fast growing waste management company, with over 30 years experience in the waste management sector. Based in Glasgow, we serve the whole of the Greater Glasgow area.

Our mission is to provide our customers with the highest standard in waste and recycling collection services.

Immediate start. Shift pattern 10 hour shifts 4 on 4 off Must be available to work regular weekends. Overtime where available paid at time & a third.
We are seeking an enthusiastic team player to join our team of HGV refuse collection drivers.

Following a pre-assigned route you will be responsible for the collection of dry mixed recycling, general, glass and/or food waste from wheeled bins from our customers in the hospitality and retail industry all across Glasgow.

You will be responsible for carrying out daily vehicle checks, ensuring that time windows are followed and that local traffic regulations are adhered to.

You will be provided with full training on site and on the job.

Applicant Requirements

Applicants must be presentable and punctual as this is a customer facing role where we pride ourselves on delivering the highest standard in the waste and recycling collections sector.

The ideal applicant will have:

A full Class 2 UK driving licence, with no more than 6 points and no DR, DD, CD or IN codes Experience driving in busy urban areas A good knowledge of driving in the Greater Glasgow area Experience in working in the waste industry preferrable Excellent customer service skills
You will be required to flexible in your approach to your working hours.

You'll be joining an already successful team and will be trained and supported fully by our team.

Pay: 17.00 per hour

Glasgow G41 1BS: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (preferred)

We operate 7 days a week, our shift patterns vary between 4 and 5 days over 7 days which include weekends. Please only apply if you are available to work throughout the week.
