Job Description

Due to our continued expansion we are looking to recruit a highly skilled and reliable Class 2 Box Wagon driver to join our dynamic team. This position offers a distance driving based role, delivering and collecting hazardous goods throughout the UK.

We require a dedicated individual who is committed to safety and customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities:

Safely transport hazardous goods to designated locations throughout the UK. Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and guidelines for the transportation of hazardous materials. Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle Maintain accurate delivers and collections Adhere to all company policies and procedures Complete necessary paperwork and documentation promptly and accurately Collaborate effectively with colleagues and customers to ensure smooth operations
Requirements:

Valid Class 2 Drivers License Valid Driver CPC and Tacho Card ADR certification (training can be provided for the right candidate) Minimum of 2 years of experience in distance driving Excellent driving record with no major violations Strong commitment to safety and compliance Good communication skills and ability to work well in a team Flexibility to work 3/4 nights out per week Ability to handle physical workloads and meet delivery deadlines Attention to detail and strong organizational skills
ADR is needed for this position but training can be provided for the right candidate.

Generous Bonus Scheme paid on jobs completed, which subsidises basic pay.

NOTE: Job involves multiple collections throughout the day, and 3/4 nights out per week, collecting Hazardous Waste throughout the UK.
