Job Description
DM Food Recycling are a Birmingham based independent company providing waste food collections to commercial premises. Due to expansion we are looking for an additional Class 2 (C) driver to cover Birmingham and the surrounding areas. You will be on the road and interacting with customers as the face of the company which will require a constructive and considerate attitude.
What the role requires:
HGV Class 2 (CAT C) licence
Full, UK driving licence.
Digital tachograph card.
Up to date Driver CPC.
Ability to work independently and responsibly
Responsibilities for the job role:
Carrying out routine vehicle checks
Making sure that the load is correctly placed and is secure
Emptying wheelie bins
Driving HGV refuse vehicle (RCV)
Using the companies route app to record time of collection and any issues
Safely operate refuse collection vehicles (RCVs) on designated routes
Follow all traffic laws and safety regulations
Be reliable, punctual and self-motivated
Have a great attitude and strong work ethic
Be capable and confident in your ability.

Hours: 45 hours per week
Standard Pay Rate: 15.00 per hour
Authorised Overtime Pay Rate 22.50
Holidays: 28 days per year, including bank holidays
