HGV Class 2 Category C Drivers

4 days on 4 days off shift pattern

Start times between 0400 and 0700, Finish times will vary

14.61 per hour

Due to further exceptional growth of the business, we are recruiting additional HGV Class 2 Category C Drivers to work on 4 days on 4 days off shift pattern.

What you will be doing

Safely operate the delivery vehicle to transport goods to various locations. Average Drops between 10-15 drops per day Ensure timely and accurate delivery of products while adhering to traffic laws and regulations. Load and unload items, performing heavy lifting as necessary. Handball work will be involved. Maintain communication with Transport staff and customers regarding delivery status. Conduct routine vehicle inspections and report any maintenance issues promptly. Keep accurate records of deliveries and maintain a clean driving log.

What we are looking for/Essential for the role

Valid

Class 2 (Category C) HGV license

CPC (Certificate of Professional Competence) and valid digital tachograph card. Strong knowledge of UK road networks and road safety laws. Excellent driving skills with a focus on safety and efficiency. Minimum of 2 years held on a Class 2 license. We will accept up to 6 points on your license, but no DD, DG, TT, DR, CD, IN, CU endorsements
Starting hourly pay will be 14.61 per hr

Bank holidays worked paid at time and half.

Successful applicants will be required to undergo a Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check as part of the recruitment process.
