Monday to Friday and occasional Saturday on rota Full Time permanent position, Monday to Friday. Overtime paid on hours beyond 50 hrs. Standard shift start time 07:00.

As a TPN Partner we deliver networked freight across the IP post code area. We also have coverage of the NR postcode area working as a delivery partner for an international freight forwarder.

We are currently recruiting HGV Class 2 Drivers who will be working out of our new site at Woolpit, IP30 9RZ. Each driver, once trained will be responsible for delivering and collecting multiple pallets daily.

The Duties and Tasks

Responsible for multi drop delivery and collection to residential and business premises, with the focus on compliant and safe practices while keeping the customers' needs in mind. Daily checks of your vehicle to maintain legal compliance. Always operating within the requirements of EU/WTD hours regulations. In addition, once trained you will be responsible for loading and unloading your vehicle at the yard.

The applicant must:

Have held an HGV Class 2 (HGV Cat C) driving licence for a minimum of 12 months with a maximum of 6 penalty points and be over 25 (Insurance purposes). Applicants outside this scope may be considered, dependant on previous employment and experiences.*
Have a full and up to date driver CPC, ongoing training while be provided. Be reliable, responsible and compliant in all duties. Be a team player, ready to work in a fast-paced environment Have good customer service skills essential when making deliveries

Advantageous Skills:

Multi Drop Delivery Experience would be an advantage, however full training will be provided Counterbalance Forklift trained would be an advantage, however training will be provided ADR trained, however training could be offered to the right candidate.
