Overview

We are seeking to expand our driving team, we are currently looking for an additional HGV Class 2 Delivery Driver. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting goods and materials safely and efficiently, unloading using a Moffett FLT (Training possible for the right candidate if they are in possession a Forklift certificate.).

Duties

- Drive lorries to transport goods over short or long distances
- Load and unload building materials
- Follow traffic laws and regulations
- Inspect lorries for mechanical issues and safety concerns
- Maintain accurate driving logs
- Communicate with dispatchers and team members

Qualifications

- Previous experience as a Moffett Delivery Driver within and around London, Home Counties would be ideal.
- Ability to drive various types of lorries, including flatbeds & curtain-side
- Excellent driving record with a valid HGV driver's license & Moffett Certificate or Forklift Certificate (can be converted to cover Moffett with training) to include full driver CPC, minimum of 2 years experience would be advantageous. Due to insurance requirement's the minimum age is 30 yrs.
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Good physical condition for loading and unloading cargo & assisting in warehouse when needed

Pay: From 36,500.00 per year
