We are seeking a professional and reliable Truck Driver to join our logistics team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the safe and efficient delivery of goods across various locations, ensuring timely arrivals and maintaining high standards of safety and customer service. Responsibilities

Operate flatbed lorries and other commercial vehicles in accordance with road safety regulations and company policies Plan routes effectively to ensure timely deliveries while adhering to legal driving hours and safety standards Load, secure, and unload cargo safely, paying close attention to proper weight distribution and securing methods Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to identify any mechanical issues or safety concerns Maintain accurate delivery documentation and communicate effectively with dispatch teams regarding schedules or delays Ensure compliance with all relevant transport legislation, including tachograph regulations and driver hours limits Provide excellent customer service during deliveries, representing the company professionally at all times

Experience

Proven experience as a delivery driver, preferably with flatbed or commercial vehicles Demonstrable knowledge of driving regulations within the UK, including tachograph rules and safety procedures Prior experience in commercial driving roles involving long-distance or regional deliveries is highly desirable Familiarity with loading and securing cargo on flatbeds or similar vehicles is advantageous Valid driving licence suitable for operating large commercial vehicles, with no serious endorsements or restrictions Delivery driver experience that highlights reliability, punctuality, and excellent organisational skills
