HGV Class 2 (Category C) Driver

Key Responsibilities

Safely operate a Class 2 HGV to transport goods across the UK. Load and unload cargo, ensuring secure stowage for safe transit. Plan efficient routes and meet delivery schedules. Carry out daily vehicle checks and basic maintenance. Comply with all traffic laws, regulations, and company procedures. Maintain accurate delivery, mileage, and fuel usage records.

Qualifications & Requirements

Valid

HGV Class 2 licence (Category C)

with a clean driving record.

Driver CPC qualification

and

Digital Tachograph Card

. Previous HGV driving experience (sameday/express experience an advantage). Ability to drive long distances and work flexible hours. Strong time management, communication, and customer service skills. Commitment to safety and compliance.

CAA-regulated company

, successful candidates must pass:

A driver assessment. A Criminal Records Check (CRC). A full 5-year history & reference check.
