Job Summary

We are seeking a reliable and skilled Truck Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in commercial driving, particularly with flatbed vehicles, and a strong commitment to safety and efficiency. This role involves transporting goods to various locations while ensuring compliance with all road regulations and company policies.

Duties

Operate flatbed lorries to deliver goods safely and efficiently to designated locations. Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure it is in good working condition. Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including logs of mileage, fuel consumption, and any incidents. Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations while driving on public roads. Communicate effectively with dispatchers and clients regarding delivery schedules and any potential delays. Load and unload cargo as necessary, ensuring proper securing of loads for safe transport. Provide excellent customer service during deliveries, addressing any client concerns professionally.

Experience

Proven experience as a delivery driver or in a similar role is preferred. Valid commercial driving licence with appropriate endorsements for flatbed operation. Familiarity with local routes and road regulations is advantageous. Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage time effectively.
