We are seeking a professional and reliable Truck Driver to join our logistics team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the safe and timely delivery of goods across various routes, ensuring compliance with all road safety regulations. This role offers an excellent opportunity for individuals with a passion for driving and experience in commercial transportation, particularly in 18T Curtain side vehicle operations. The position involves operating large vehicles, maintaining accurate delivery documentation, and representing our company with professionalism on the road.

Responsibilities

Safely operate curtainside lorries and other commercial vehicles to transport goods to designated locations Plan and follow efficient routes to ensure timely deliveries Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to identify any maintenance or safety issues Secure cargo properly to prevent damage during transit Complete all necessary paperwork accurately, including delivery notes and logs Communicate effectively with dispatch teams regarding delivery schedules and any unforeseen delays Adhere strictly to all traffic laws, safety regulations, and company policies during operations Assist with loading and unloading cargo when required, maintaining a high standard of safety and organisation

Experience

Proven experience as a Delivery Driver or Commercial Driver Demonstrable knowledge of driving regulations and safety standards within the UK Prior experience in delivery roles is highly desirable, with a focus on punctuality and customer service skills Valid driving licence suitable for operating large commercial vehicles, with no serious endorsements or restrictions Familiarity with route planning software or GPS devices is advantageous

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: From 180.00 per day

Expected hours: 10 - 30 per week
