Job Description

We are a well-established, growing family-run logistics business, committed to delivering a reliable, high-quality service to our customers. Operating a fleet of over 50 vehicles across two depots in Essex, we specialise in the collection and delivery of parcel and palletised freight.

We are currently seeking a professional and dependable HGV Class 2 Driver to join our palletised operations team at our Rivenhall depot.

The Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for the safe and efficient delivery and collection of palletised goods within the CM and CO postcode areas.

Working hours:

Monday to Friday, 8:00am - 6:00pm Overtime and occasional Saturdays available
Key responsibilities include:

Delivering and collecting palletised goods in a timely and professional manner Providing a high standard of customer service at all delivery and collection points Ensuring full compliance with road traffic laws and company procedures Carrying out daily vehicle safety checks Maintaining accurate delivery documentation
Drivers are provided with a company mobile phone, uniform, and all required PPE. Full on-site training is provided.

Candidate Requirements

Minimum of 2 years' experience driving Class 2 curtain-sided vehicles Full and valid HGV Class 2 (Category C) licence Driver CPC and digital tachograph card Good local geographical knowledge Strong customer service skills and a professional attitude
