Job Title: HGV Class 2 Driver (Scaffolding)

Location: Yorkshire and surrounding areas

Job Overview:

We are looking for a reliable and experienced HGV Class 2 Driver to join our scaffolding team. You will be responsible for transporting scaffolding materials safely to and from job sites, ensuring timely deliveries while following all road safety regulations. The role may also involve some manual handling and assisting scaffolders with loading and unloading materials.

Key Responsibilities:

Safely operate an HGV Class 2 vehicle to deliver and collect scaffolding materials. Ensure loads are properly secured and comply with weight regulations. Assist in loading and unloading materials at sites and in the yard. Complete daily vehicle checks and report any defects. Maintain accurate delivery records and paperwork. Adhere to all road transport and health & safety regulations. Communicate effectively with site teams to ensure smooth operations.
Requirements:

Valid HGV Class 2 (Category C) license. Driver CPC qualification and Digital Tachograph card. Experience in transporting scaffolding or construction materials (preferred). Good understanding of load securing and weight distribution. Physically fit and willing to assist with manual handling. Strong awareness of road safety and legal compliance.
Desirable:

Previous experience working in a scaffolding or construction environment. HIAB or crane certification (advantageous but not essential). Forklift license (preferred but not required).
