Overview

We are seeking a professional and reliable HGV Class 2 Driver to join our plant hire team at Bullimores. The ideal candidate will have experience operating commercial vehicles & plant. This role involves delivering machinery efficiently and safely across designated routes while maintaining excellent communication with clients and team members.

Duties

Safely operate a Class 2 Heavy Goods Vehicle (HGV) including flatbeds, or similar commercial vehicles Loading and unloading of plant machinery. Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and compliance with regulations Deliver plant to various sites following scheduled routes Maintain accurate documentation of deliveries, mileage, and vehicle checks Communicate effectively with clients, and team members regarding delivery schedules or issues Adhere to all safety protocols and traffic laws during operations

Skills

Experience in commercial driving, route driving, or delivery driver roles Knowledge of heavy equipment operation such as forklifts, excavators, dumpers is a plus Mechanical knowledge for basic troubleshooting and vehicle maintenance awareness Strong communication skills for effective interaction with clients and team members Valid driver's license with a clean driving record Physical capability to move goods and perform duties requiring lifting or manual handling
This position offers an opportunity to work in a friendly team with a sociable 45 hour week with no evenings or weekends. + Bonus scheme
