Job Summary

We are seeking a reliable and experienced HGV Class 2 Driver to join our logistics team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the safe and efficient delivery of goods to multiple locations. This role requires a strong commitment to safety, excellent driving skills, and the ability to handle deliveries. As a Truck Driver, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that our operations run smoothly and that our customers receive their products on time.

Responsibilities

Operate a lorry in accordance with all traffic laws and regulations. Ensure the safe loading and unloading of goods to Customers. Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure it is in good working condition. Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including delivery times and any issues encountered. Communicate effectively with the rest of the team members regarding delivery schedules and any potential delays. Adhere to all company policies regarding safety and compliance during transportation. Provide excellent customer service during deliveries, representing the company positively at all times.

Requirements

Valid Driving License. Proven experience as a delivery driver or in a similar role within the logistics industry. Strong understanding of road safety regulations and best practices for commercial driving. Ability to work independently while managing time effectively to meet delivery schedules. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written. A commitment to maintaining high standards of safety and professionalism while on the road.
