3000 bonus paid end of the financial year if no accidents occur and no written warnings taking total pay to 40'000

Role Summary

We are looking for a reliable and professional

Truck Driver (Class 2)

to join our transport team in

Bradford

. This role plays a vital part in ensuring the timely and safe delivery of products to our customers, upholding our reputation for service, quality, and reliability.

Key Responsibilities

Operate Class 2 freezer and commercial vehicles safely and efficiently. Deliver food products, packaging materials, and catering supplies to various customer locations. Ensure full compliance with transport regulations, company policies, and health & safety standards. Complete all delivery paperwork and logs accurately and promptly. Carry out daily vehicle checks and report any faults or maintenance issues immediately. Work closely with warehouse and logistics teams to ensure delivery routes are optimised. Provide exceptional customer service and represent ICS UK Ltd in a professional manner at all times.

Qualifications & Skills

Proven experience as a commercial or HGV delivery driver. Valid

UK Class 2 (Category C) licence

, CPC, and Digital Tachograph card. Sound knowledge of UK road transport regulations and safety procedures. Strong time management and route planning skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Good communication and customer service skills. Experience within the foodservice or packaging distribution sector is an advantage.

Working Hours & Conditions

Days:

Monday to Friday (occasional weekend work available, paid as an additional day).

Start Times:

Between 7:00am and 11:30am, depending on route and day.

Average Shift Duration:

Approximately 10 hours per day (circa 50 hours per week).

Pay Structure:

Fixed daily rate based on a 10-hour day. Hours are averaged over the pay period -- additional hours are balanced within the schedule.

Assistance:

Drivers are supported by a

Driver's Mate

who helps unload stock at customer sites.

Manual Handling:

This role involves

manual lifting

. Dry stock is unloaded from the rear doors using a tail lift. Frozen stock is unloaded from the side door, with the driver passing goods to the Driver's Mate for shop delivery.
