Join James Burrell as a LGV Driver in Gateshead, where you will contribute towards the timely, accurate and safe delivery of building materials. This role is more than just driving, you will be the friendly face of James Burrell, representing the company professionally at our customer sites and providing a helpful service that our customers remember.

LGV Category C Driver (Previously known as HGV Class 2)

Location: Gateshead, NE8 2BR

Salary: Competitive

THE ROLE:

You will be required to ensure that materials are delivered promptly and accurately to our customer locations. You will assist in unloading the vehicle at the delivery location with the remotely operated hiab crane and providing an excellent customer service.

CANDIDATE:

We are seeking a reliable and hardworking person, who is confident driving a Class 2 vehicle and has good knowledge of Gateshead and the surrounding area. Having a good product knowledge on a range of building materials would be an advantage to this position.

QUALIFICATIONS:

The successful candidate must have a LGV Category C Licence (previously known as HGV Class 2), digital tachograph, Driver CPC. A current HIAB licence would be an advantage.
