Job Type:

Full time, Permanent | 37.5hrs per week (Flexibility is a requirement of the role) | Monday to Friday

Job Purpose:

We are seeking a professional and experienced HGV Class 2 Driver to join our logistics team. You will be responsible for the safe and timely delivery of materials to customer sites, ensuring that all loads are handled and offloaded safely and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities

Safely operate a Class 2 (Category C) vehicle to deliver facade and cladding materials to construction sites and customer locations.

Conduct thorough vehicle and equipment checks before and after use, reporting any issues promptly.

Ensure all goods are properly secured and handled with care during transport.

Complete delivery documentation accurately and maintain records in compliance with company and legal requirements.

Provide excellent customer service and represent Vivalda Ltd professionally at all times.

Adhere to all transport, driver hours, and road safety regulations.

Liaise with internal colleagues in regard to customer orders and deliveries, ensuring you are aware of any special requirements or restrictions, and you are in receipt of all the required paperwork

Liaise with the site contact to ensure a smooth off-load

Occasional warehouse duties when required

Any other reasonable requests from Management

Person Specification:

Essential:

Valid full driving licence (Category C, with at least 5 years driving experience)

Experience of multi-drop deliveries

Reliable - excellent attendance and timekeeping

Flexibility to occasionally work early mornings or longer hours as required.

Understanding of and commitment to provide the highest standard of customer service

A positive team player, with demonstrable ability to work collaboratively with colleagues

A 'can-do' attitude, looking for solutions rather than problems

Desirable:

Experience in a construction environment

Valid forklift certificate
