HGV Class 2 Driver

PB Tyres (UK) LLP

PB Tyres, based on the southern outskirts of Milton Keynes are a family owned commercial tyre wholesaler and one of the UK's largest commercial tyre casing agents. Due to business growth and success, we are looking for a HGV Class 2 Driver to join our team.

This is a permanent position working full days Monday to Friday and half day Saturdays plus break entitlement. Overnight shifts are also available.

This position is physically demanding as the role entails a lot of heavy lifting. This needs to be considered before applying.

Reporting to the Transport Manager and the Business Owner your main responsibilities will include:

Loading and unloading of truck tyres and used tyre casings Delivering to and collecting from our customers, spread across the southern half of the UK Leasing with customers to plan collections Planning daily routes Upkeep of vehicles maintenance, MOT, 8 weekly etc General daily paperwork

The individual we are looking for must have the following qualifications and attributes:

Full HGV2 Driving Licence CPC and Digital Tachograph Card Good Knowledge of UK road network Conscientious, reliable and flexible Physically fit Good Organisational Skills Work well under pressure

What we offer in return:

38,000 Per Annum Basic Salary 22 days annual holiday + Bank Holidays Contributory Pension Scheme

Please note:

We are located in a remote location away from public transport routes so having your own transport is essential.

Hours of Work:

Monday to Friday and alternate Saturday Mornings
