Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Truck Driver to join our logistics team. Duties

Operate a flatbed lorry to transport goods to various locations while adhering to all traffic laws and regulations. Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure safety and compliance. Load and unload cargo, ensuring that all items are secured properly for transport. Maintain accurate delivery logs and records, including mileage, fuel consumption, and any incidents during transit. Communicate effectively with dispatchers and customers regarding delivery schedules and any potential delays. Adhere to company policies regarding safety protocols and operational procedures.

Qualifications

Full Class 2 license Proven experience as a delivery driver or in a similar role within the logistics industry. Strong understanding of road safety regulations and best practices for transporting goods. Ability to lift heavy items and perform physical tasks associated with loading and unloading cargo. Excellent time management skills with the ability to work independently or as part of a team. Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact effectively with colleagues and clients. A hard worker who gives attention to detail and takes pride in getting things right first time. Must be able to work consistently and stay professional under high pressure.
