Job Description
Job Overview:
We are currently seeking a reliable Lorry Driver to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for transporting goods and material, mainly steel beams, across various locations using a flatbed lorry.
Duties:
- Drive flatbed lorries to transport goods and materials to designated locations
- Load and unload cargo safely and securely
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections
- Adhere to all relevant safety regulations and traffic laws
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries and vehicle maintenance
- Driving forklift to load and off load in our yards. ( training can be provided)
Qualifications:
- Valid commercial driving licence (CPC)
- Proven experience as a delivery driver or truck driver
- Excellent driving skills with a clean driving record
- Ability to operate a flatbed lorry safely and efficiently
- Strong communication and time management skills
- Physical fitness for loading/unloading tasks
