Job Title

: Delivery Driver (Class 2)

Salary:

15.25 per hour plus weekly bonus and overtime

Hours:

39 basic hours plus paid overtime (nights out required)

Job Purpose

: We are looking to employ delivery drivers to work at our North depot in Haydock. The role of the delivery driver is to work in our fast-paced and time-sensitive depot, to load, deliver and collect goods on a daily basis to customers on time, in a safe manner and in a satisfactory condition. Deliveries will be to builder's depots and to the customer's address.

Responsibilities:

Completion of all vehicle checks before the vehicle is driven

Ensure goods have been loaded securely before departing

Maintain good customer relations by always being courteous and helpful

Offer delivery of goods to a room of choice on the ground floor of premises

Ensure customer receives excellent customer service

Keep vehicle clean and tidy

Skills and Experience Required:

Full EU Driving License for 3 + Years with no disqualifications in the last 5 years

Minimum of 2 years' experience in a similar role is required

No more than 3 Points on Driving Licence

Personal Attributes:

Physically fit as the doors are solid

Customer-focused with strong communication skills

Excellent attention to detail, accuracy and listening skills
