Summary

We are seeking a dedicated Truck Driver to join our team in the UK. This role involves operating tipper trucks to deliver sand/tarmac efficiently while maintaining safety standards. The position offers a consistent work schedule with potential overtime, contributing to our mission of dependable logistics solutions.

Responsibilities

Ensure timely delivery of cargo while adhering to traffic laws and safety regulations. Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles. Maintain accurate delivery documentation. Communicate effectively with dispatch and clients. Follow company policies to ensure safety and compliance. Assist with loading and unloading cargo when necessary. Report any vehicle issues or incidents promptly.

Qualifications

Proven experience as a commercial truck driver, preferably with flatbed trucks. Valid UK driving license suitable for heavy vehicles. Strong understanding of road safety regulations. Excellent time management skills. Ability to perform vehicle inspections. Good communication skills. Prior experience in delivery driving is advantageous. Commitment to safety and reliability.
