Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and reliable Driver to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering goods safely and efficiently to various licensed premises throughout North Wales. This role requires a strong commitment to safety, excellent driving skills, and the ability to manage delivery schedules effectively. Experience with flatbed lorries is desirable. The role will also involve warehouse duties such as preparing and checking orders for delivery. The role involves some heavy lifting.

Duties

Operate flatbed lorries in a safe and efficient manner, adhering to all traffic laws and regulations Ensuring that all items are secured properly for transport Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure it is in good working condition Communicate effectively and politely with planners and clients regarding delivery schedules and any potential delays Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations while on the road and at delivery sites

Experience

Proven experience as a Commercial Driver with a valid driving licence appropriate for the vehicle type Previous experience as a Delivery Driver is advantageous Familiarity with flatbed lorry operations is preferred Strong understanding of road safety regulations and best practices for driving Excellent time management skills with the ability to adhere to tight schedules
