DHL, award winning leading supply chain business is seeking a Class 2 Driver to play a vital role in our distribution service. Position: Class 2 Driver
Contract Type: Permanent
Location: Heathrow Airport \xe2\x80\x93 Polar Park
Salary: \xc2\xa336,133.50
Shift Pattern: Rotational 4 on 4 off Start times: Week 1 start time 05:00 - 08:00 Week 2 start time 10:00-12:00
PLEASE NOTE: The role is based within an Airport. You will be required to under-go Security Vetting Processes ( including a criminal record check and counter terrorism check ) if you are to be successful for this position. DHL work in partnership with British Airways at Heathrow Airport to provide all aircraft cleaning within their Heathrow Fleet. No two days on our Aviation contract are the same! You will play an integral role in the cleaning operation, working to tight timeframes but delivering fantastic results. **Amazing Benefits including 24 hour GP service, Retail discounts and reduce cinema tickets plus many more**

WHAT DOES THE ROLE ENTAIL?

• Ensure compliance in both airline and airport policies
• Completing airfield delivery of essential amenities to aircraft
• Pallet & Roll Cage deliveries to airport lounges, stores and depots
• Manual Handling including use roll cage & electric pallet truck
• Ad Hoc: Driving 9 Seater Mini-Bus between yards

WHAT DO WE NEED FROM YOU?

• Class 2 (Cat C) Driving License, Driver CPC Qualification and Digital Tachograph Card
• High amount of Manual Handling is required for this role
• Excellent communication skills at all levels
• Ability to quickly and accurately react to any given situation

SECURITY PROCESS TO WORK WITHIN AVIATION AND TRAVEL AT DHL

• Be able to provide 5 years address history
• Be able to provide 5 years reference history (employment/education/benefit claim/character)
• To obtain a full airside ID
