Position Summary

Due to continued growth, development, and fleet expansion, WRC is recruiting an

HGV Class 2 Skip Driver

to join the team at our Renfrewshire-based depot, to assist with the delivery and recovery of recycling stock to a variety of customers across Scotland. The team at WRC is expanding, and this is the perfect opportunity to join a growing workforce within a healthy and prosperous industry.

position based at our recycling plant in

Inchinnan, Renfrewshire

. The HGV Class 2 Driver will deliver and unload skip vehicles to WRC customers.

Duties

Whilst reporting to the transport manager you will:

Deliver goods to our customers in a safe and timely manner

Comply with all road and vehicle laws

Maintain vehicle checks and keep tachograph up to date

Communicate with your team to ensure swift and easy deliveries

Resolve any customer questions or queries

Positively represent WRC by continuously following all company policies and procedures

Consistently delivering excellent customer service when carrying out all duties

Have a sound knowledge of local areas

Desired Qualifications and Skills

The successful candidate

must

have:

A minimum of a

Class 2

HGV license

A valid Driver Certificate of Professional Competence (CPC)

Experience collecting and offloading skips is desirable

A digital tachograph card

Excellent customer service skills

Starting rate of 14.92 per hour. Wage reviews will be conducted on an annual basis.

Monday - Friday. Occasional Saturday shifts available.
