Job Description
A&F Haulage are a well-established family run nationwide haulage company, with depots covering all parts of the UK. We are offering a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Class C driver to join our team driving a brand new, 75 plate Scania 8-Wheel Tipper. You will be based from our depot in Pesthouse Ln, Barham, Ipswich IP6. The site is easily accessible, and only a few minutes from the A14 with on-site parking available for whilst you are out on the road.

The ideal candidate will:
Possess a can-do attitude to work Have good understanding of tachograph and WTD regulations Be geographically knowledgeable Have at least 2 years Commercial driving experience Have tipper experience and card (MPQC - although not essential) Adhere to strict safety and quality standards on the road and on customers sites Ensure they abide by all mandatory requirements such as daily vehicle checks to ensure their vehicle is safe and roadworthy Follow all company and customers site procedures As a representative of the company, drive in a defensive and courteous manner at all times, adhering to the Highway Code Possess excellent customer facing and communicational skills (verbal and written English and Numeracy) Have excellent time-keeping skills Have attention to detail to be able to fill out necessary paperwork efficiently and correctly
Applicants must hold a valid CPC card, Digi tacho card and ideally at least 2 years of HGV driving experience.
Drivers must hold no more than 6 points on their licence, and due to the role, applicants with DR, DD and IN offences will not be considered for this role.
