Purpose of the role
To carry out duties within MoviantoUK transport operations to a standard that satisfies MoviantoUK quality expectations. To follow the procedures documented or briefed to ensure operations are completed. To adhere to statutory and company requirements for the Health & Safety of yourself and others.
Key Responsibilities
Operating company vehicles providing appropriate licences and authorisations are current.
Offloading and reloading of vehicles at customer's premises and at the depot.
Assist with warehouse personnel to ensure delivery runs are complete before loading.
Show flexibility as you may be required to undertake deliveries in other areas within our distribution area.
Carry out daily maintenance checks and ensure the cleanliness of your vehicle to present a professional image.
Abide by statutory and legal requirements with relation to driver's hours and tachograph regulations.
Present tachographs for analysis as requested by Depot Management or statutory inspectors.
Deal with customers in a professional and courteous manner.
Wear at all times such safety and company uniforms as provided.
Be prepared to vary start times and shift patterns as required by the needs of the business.
Carry out all reasonable requests by Depot Management.
Experience/Skills Required
Previous multi-drop delivery operations practical experience
Articulate, numerate and able to communicate effectively
Possession of appropriate and current licenses with no more than 6 penalty points
The physical ability to complete operational tasks
Smart and personally well presented.
Must have held a Class 2 (C) license and full UK drivers licence
