Job Description

Eric Edwards Haulage Contractor Ltd is seeking a professional and reliable HGV Class 2 Driver to join our team. With an additional opportunity to gain a Class 1 Licence

The position will involve the safe transportation of palletised flour to various destinations, mainly around the Manchester area. Alongside handball deliveries to smaller premises, the vehicle will be equipped with an electric pump truck and tail lift to assist in making these deliveries. Experience with commercial driving is preferred, along with a strong commitment to customer service.

Shift pattern: Monday-Friday No Nights Out 8-12hrs average per shift Full training will be given upon acceptance of the position Career opportunities to extend experience and knowledge within the industry

Conduct routine vehicle inspections and report any maintenance issues promptly Adhere strictly to all road safety regulations and company policies during driving operations Assist with loading and unloading as required, ensuring proper handling procedures are followed Uphold a professional appearance and behaviour when interacting with customers and colleagues

Qualifications

Valid HGV Class 2 driving licence Experience in commercial driving Excellent organisational skills with good time management Communication skills to liaise effectively Ability to undertake physical tasks
