Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and reliable HGV Class 2 Driver and Labourer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting loads safely and efficiently, ensuring timely deliveries while adhering to all road safety regulations. This role requires a strong commitment to customer service and the ability to operate a curtain-sided vehicle safely.

Duties

Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure safety and compliance with regulations. Load and unload cargo, securing it appropriately for transport. Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including logs of mileage and fuel consumption. Follow all traffic laws and regulations while driving, ensuring the safety of oneself and others on the road. Overnight work may be required (Once a week). Flexible. Overtime after 40 hours. Good housekeeping of all vehicles.

Experience

A valid HGV licence is required. Full Driving license. Strong organisational skills and attention to detail are essential for managing schedules and documentation. Excellent communication skills are necessary for interacting with customers and team members effectively. No more than six points on a driving license. ADR Driver CPC Forklift License. Hazardous Waste experience (preferred). 2 years of experience.
