Role Overview

We are seeking a reliable and safety-focused

HGV Class 2 Moffett Driver

to join our team on an adhoc basis. The successful candidate will be responsible for the safe transportation, delivery, and collection of goods while operating a truck-mounted Moffett forklift at various delivery points including construction sites and residential properties.

Key Responsibilities

Safely drive an HGV Class 2 vehicle and complete multi-drop deliveries and collections efficiently and on time. Ensure all loads are fully secured and correctly strapped before and during transit. Competently operate the truck-mounted Moffett forklift to load and unload goods such as building materials and palletised products. Plan routes effectively to meet delivery schedules. Act as a professional and courteous representative of the company at all times. Adhere to all traffic laws, company policies, and health & safety procedures. Conduct daily vehicle and Moffett safety checks and report any defects immediately. Accurately complete delivery paperwork and digital records. Communicate clearly with the transport office regarding progress, delays, or issues. Assist with manual handling of goods when required, using safe lifting techniques. Comply strictly with tachograph and working time regulations.
Essential Requirements

Valid HGV Class 2 (Category C) licence.

Mandatory valid Moffett forklift driver licence.

Driver CPC and Digital Tachograph Card. Experience in multi-drop deliveries preferred. Good communication and customer service skills. Physically able to carry out manual handling tasks. Strong awareness of health and safety practices.

PPE & Safety

Full steel toe-cap safety boots are mandatory. Hi-Vis clothing and additional PPE will be provided by the company.
