Overview
We are currently seeking a reliable and experienced Skip Hire Driver to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the safe and timely delivery, exchange, and collection of skips at residential, commercial, and industrial sites.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Deliver, exchange, and collect skips from residential, commercial, and construction sites Operate skip wagons (chain lift or roll-on/roll-off) in a safe and efficient manner Secure loads correctly to ensure safe transportation Follow designated routes and schedules to meet customer deadlines Communicate clearly with dispatch and customers regarding deliveries and collections Complete all required paperwork and digital records accurately Conduct daily vehicle checks and report defects immediately Adhere to all road safety and traffic laws, as well as company policies and procedures Maintain a clean and presentable vehicle at all times Represent the company professionally on-site and while driving
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: 15.00-16.00 per hour
Expected hours: No more than 45 per week
Schedule:
Day shift Monday to Friday
Work Location: In person
