Job Overview

We are seeking a reliable and professional 18 tonne driver to join our team in the drinks distribution sector. This role involves delivering alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages to pubs, bars, restaurants, and retailers across London. Manual handling and heavy lifting are a key part of this role, so a good level of physical fitness is essential. You will also be accompanied by a drivers mate to assist.

Duties

Safely operate an 18 tonne vehicle in compliance with road and company regulations. Deliver drinks products to multiple customer sites daily. Accurately load and unload the vehicle, involving heavy lifting of kegs, cases, and pallets. Ensure all deliveries are made on time, and paperwork is completed correctly. Provide excellent customer service and maintain professional relationships with clients. Perform daily vehicle checks and report any faults or maintenance issues. Comply with health and safety standards at all times.

Requirements

Valid Category C (Class 2) licence. Up-to-date CPC Qualification Card and Digital Tachograph Card. Previous experience delivering in the drinks or logistics industry is desirable. Comfortable with heavy lifting and physically demanding work. Strong communication skills and a positive, customer-focused attitude. Good knowledge of local area and routes is an advantage.
