Job Summary

We are seeking a reliable and skilled Truck Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in commercial driving, particularly with flatbed vehicles, and a strong commitment to safety and efficiency. As a Truck Driver, you will be responsible for transporting goods to various locations while ensuring timely deliveries and maintaining the integrity of the cargo.

Responsibilities

Operate flatbed lorries in a safe and efficient manner, adhering to all traffic laws and regulations. Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure it is in good working condition. Load and unload cargo, securing it properly for transport. Maintain accurate delivery logs and documentation as required. Communicate effectively with dispatchers and customers regarding delivery schedules and any potential delays. Ensure compliance with company policies and safety standards at all times. Report any vehicle issues or accidents immediately to management.

Experience

Proven experience as a delivery driver or in a similar role, with a focus on commercial driving. Familiarity with flatbed lorry operations is highly desirable. A valid commercial driving licence is essential. Strong understanding of road safety regulations and best practices. Excellent time management skills and the ability to work independently. Good communication skills for effective interaction with clients and team members.
