We are seeking a professional and reliable

Truck Driver

to join our logistics team. The successful candidate will be responsible for safely transporting goods across various routes, ensuring timely deliveries, and maintaining the highest standards of safety and professionalism. Experience with commercial truck driving is highly desirable, along with a strong commitment to customer service, problem-solving, and road safety.

Responsibilities

Safely operate trucks and other commercial vehicles to transport goods to designated locations. Carry out

multi-drop deliveries

, including wholesale distribution. Plan and follow efficient routes to ensure timely deliveries, demonstrating excellent knowledge of UK road networks. Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle, reporting any maintenance issues promptly. Maintain accurate delivery documentation, logs, and payment records in accordance with company policies. Adhere to all road safety regulations and company policies at all times. Communicate effectively with dispatchers and clients regarding delivery schedules or any delays. Assist with loading and unloading cargo when necessary, ensuring proper handling procedures are followed. Provide high-quality customer service and resolve issues professionally when they arise.

Requirements

Valid UK driving licence with a clean driving record.

Valid Driver CPC qualification and Digital Tachograph (Driver) Card.

Strong knowledge and good understanding of CPC requirements and compliance.

Proven experience as a commercial truck driver. Experience with

multi-drop deliveries

and wholesale operations is highly advantageous. Strong knowledge of road safety regulations and best practices for commercial driving. Delivery driver experience demonstrating reliability, punctuality, and professionalism. Strong communication and customer service skills to liaise effectively with team members and clients. Ability to work independently, problem-solve on the road, and perform under pressure in a fast-paced environment.

Pay: 3,033.33 per month
