Hgv Class 2 Driver
Job Description
Class 2 Driver required for non-mechanical plant hire & sales company. Immediate start. Overtime available.
Job requirements:
Class 2 Driving Licence
Full Clean Licence with in-date HIAB
Good knowledge of local area
Valid CPC card
Able to use Analogue/Digital Tacho
Manual gearbox experience
Good communication skills
Experience with ratchets/chains/load binders
Completion of daily vehicle defect check
Carry out deliveries on a multi-drop basis
Dealing with customers on site
Working closely with office staff, complying with company standards e.g. Health and Safety, Fire Safety etc.
Strictly observe traffic rules, regulations and speed limits
Assist with yard duties when driving not required
Starting Hourly Rate - 16.75 (after 3 months probation - 17.25)
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
