Job Description

Responsibilities:
- Safely operate a commercial truck to transport goods and materials to and from specified destinations
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure its safety and proper functioning
- Load and unload cargo, ensuring that it is properly secured for transportation
- Follow all traffic laws and regulations, as well as company policies and procedures
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries and any incidents or delays encountered
- Communicate effectively with hire desk, customers, and other team members to coordinate delivery schedules and address any issues that may arise

Qualifications:
- Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) with a clean driving record
- Proven experience as a truck driver, preferably with experience of delivery driving
- Ability to operate a variety of trucks and trailers, including flatbeds
- Strong knowledge of traffic laws and regulations governing commercial truck operation
- Excellent time management skills and the ability to meet delivery deadlines
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision

Typical working hours - 5.00am - 4.30pm

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: 14.00 per hour
