Job Description
Who will you be working for?
This is a unique opportunity to join a leading timber frame manufacturing and erection company. Based in Margate, the business is well established and has a large diverse customer base throughout the United Kingdom.
What will you be doing?
You will be part of a team of drivers responsible for the safe and efficient delivery of goods to our customers. Your duties will include:
Completing daily vehicle safety checks, reporting maintenance defects, adhering to company driving standards. Assisting with and supervising the loading and unloading of materials. Ensuring loads are always secure and safe. Ensure the appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) is always worn, Including protective boots, high visibility vest/jacket, helmet, and gloves. Completing and submitting delivery reports. Start and finish times vary. Start times are between 4am and 7am.
About you?
Previous experience in similar sector is ideal but not essential.
Ability to work well with others and independently.
Good time keeping and dependability.
Clean HGV Class1/2 licence
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: 13.00 per hour
